# About Reviews BPC-157: An Independent Editorial Digest of the Record

> About Reviews BPC-157: an independent editorial project that summarizes and grades the peer-reviewed BPC-157 research record. Not a clinic, not a vendor, not a prescriber.

An independent editorial project that reads the BPC-157 literature and grades how far each finding reaches.

## What this site is

Reviews BPC-157 is an independent editorial project that publishes summaries of the peer-reviewed research literature on BPC-157. We are not a clinic. We do not employ clinicians, and we do not provide medical advice. We do not manufacture, sell, or distribute any product. Our work is editorial commentary on publicly available science.

The 'reviews' in the name describes a method, not a marketplace. This is not a star-rating page and not a place to buy anything. It is a digest that reads the published record and grades it: ESTABLISHED for what the animal and cell literature genuinely shows, PILOT-ONLY for the three small human studies, NO HUMAN DATA for the genuine blanks, and REGULATORY for the access boundaries drawn from the FDA record.

## How we grade and cite

Every quantitative claim on the site — a dose, a half-life, an effect, an n-value — maps to a numbered citation on the [references](/references) page. The preclinical and clinical entries are real PubMed-indexed studies; the regulatory entries cite specific FDA pages. When the evidence is strong, we say so plainly. When it stops at two participants, we say that too.

We also name the structural caveats a marketing page would bury. The human dataset is three small pilots. A large share of the foundational literature comes from a single research group, which newer reviews flag as a replication question. BPC-157 is not an FDA-approved drug, and its supply outside formal studies is non-regulated. A reviewed digest grades the absence of evidence as carefully as its presence.

## What the name means

The 'reviews' framing is editorial — a position this publisher occupies relative to the literature, not a claim about services we provide. We do not offer treatment, consultation, prescriptions, or product. We do not run a clinic or a pharmacy, and nothing on this site is dispensed or sold. If you are weighing any peptide for any purpose, that is a conversation for a licensed prescriber, not for a reading list — and our [BPC-157 legal status and 503A category](/legal-status) page is general information about the regulatory landscape, not legal or medical advice.

---

Each BPC-157 finding here is graded by how far the evidence actually reaches — established in animals, pilot-only in humans, or no human data at all — and the FDA 503A status is read first; reviewed by no clinic, and nothing here is dispensed or sold.
